What is the level of detail of objects produced?
The level of detail that can be achieved with laser cutting is different depending on the material that you are using. However, for acrylic, MDF, plywood and cardboard it is determined by the same criteria for all materials: the kerf, the thickness of the material and the minimum distance between two paths.
You will find more information in the Design Guidelines of each material page.

For metal laser cutting, you don't need to take the kerf into account. The machine'll do it for you!
